Several Portuguese entrepreneurial communities have come together to help people who are working remotely and need more conditions to carry out their projects. Several coworks across the country will open their doors on Thursdays and receive workers at their units free of charge.

The initiative is called Coworking Thursdays, it came after the first wave of the pandemic and has already held events in Porto and Lisbon. Now, it's back. As of this week, you will be able to register for this Thursday, May 27th edition, which will take place in Lisbon and will take place at the LACS Anjos cowork.

The project was created with the support of several communities present in Portugal, such as 351, Made of Lisbon, Acredita Portugal, CMX Connect Portugal, Grow Remote, alphaCoimbra, CreativeMornings Lisbon, Startup Grind Lisbon and Lisbon Digital Nomads.

The objective is, stress the entities involved, to continue with the project and establish it in several Portuguese cities, spreading its scope over time.

In addition to offering free days in coworks, the project aims to help freelancers based in our country to find new clients, obtaining free credits on the Zaask platform, which connects service providers to their clients through the partnership with Mercado Made of Lisboa. The entire schedule, which tells you where the next Coworking Thursdays are, can be viewed online.
