Flexible workspaces are no longer just for startups

Todos os artigos

The idea that flexible workspaces are only for freelancers and startups is changing. The new way of working imposed by the pandemic caused by Covid-19, has revolutionized the way that large companies, from different areas, look at their workspaces.

Complete solutions, which integrate physical spaces for many employees and combined remote work, compliance with safety, hygiene and distance measures, adding networking, are the normal future. This way of working, driven by startups, entrepreneurs and freelancers, is spreading more and more to medium and large companies, which are beginning to realize the benefits of a shared workspace and flexible work.

The end of geographical barriers

Although technology has enabled more people to work from home, companies and their employees have quickly realized the value and need for face-to-face collaboration.

It is in the flexible workspaces that this synergy is born: they are spaces where collaboration, networking, sharing and innovation are privileged. After all, it is not surprising that in a recent study by Inc., 84% of the coworkers interviewed say that they feel more motivated and enaged in a cowork space.

Remote work is not new, but many companies are yet to adopt it. Discovering the advantages of this model, allows you the freedom to choose to work at the company’s headquarters, in a flexible workspace or in the home office. It is the beginning of a combined/hybrid model, which will be part of our lives in the near future and is possible and happens in flexible workspaces.

A space designed for everyone

Flexible offices, which allow companies to choose their own decoration and create different areas that appeal to the large majority of their employees, so that each one finds the environment that best suits their profile and needs, becoming places where people are focused, where there is a greater alignment with the company’s values, an increase in well-being and productivity levels, proving the important role between design and psychology.

It is also not difficult to see the obvious reduction in organizational costs for companies. Flexible workspaces already include internet, water and electricity in the monthly fee, saving these costs from the start. This without even considering the optimization of expenses and day-to-day operations with the structure that having a conventional office implies.

Encouraging cultural consumption

Besides all the sharing and networking directly associated with a flexible workspace, there is also cultural consumption, promoted by many spaces that attracts different audiences, visitors, new companies and professionals, allowing companies to reach higher levels of creativity.

These are just a few of the reasons large companies are moving to flexible workspaces and their growth is expected to reach $11.52 billion in 2023.
