Chatting with: PLG Pharma
PLG Pharma is one of the members of LACS Conde d’Óbidos, occupying a private studio.
We spoke with Nuno Leonardo, Co-founder of the company.
Describe your work in three words.
Dynamic, intense and satisfying.
What is best about your job? Freedom of movement.
Describe a typical day at PLG Pharma.
Very stressful, as we have to respond to our customers and suppliers on time and hours, as well as make a technical follow-up of all the inputs and outputs of medicines, medical devices and cosmetics between warehouse and customers/suppliers.
What music do you listen to while working?
All kind of music, I don’t have a genre, I like fado, hip hop, english pop music etc.
How did PLG Pharma start? What is the main idea behind PLG Pharma?
PLG starts with the insistence of several friends, having several contacts in different parts of the world I started to explore this idea, and it went well. The main idea, taking medicines, food supplements, medical devices, cosmetics, etc., to all parts of the globe at a fair price.
What do you like most about LACS?
The environment, the friendliness of everyone and the location.
When you were a child, what did you want to be?
I wanted to be an Archaeologist, Indiana Jone’s influence was great 😊
What was your first job?
My first job was at Banco Totta e Açores (private banking).
Someone who inspires you and why?
My grandfather died in the year than I was born, perhaps because of the stories I always heard my Father tell. His way of approaching and living life with others and for others, his generosity and tenacity.
What is the secret to success?
We must not try to be what we are not, above all we should be true, honest and correct with everything and everyone, always leveling up and being the best in what we do.
Advice for someone just starting a business?
Believe that everything is possible with hard work and a lot of ambition without ever losing focus.
What are your favorite places in Lisbon?
Rio Tejo, Avenidas Novas and Alfama.
